Thanks so much for working with me again this week. Something really clicked with me on how my foot was landing. Both yesterday and today I only had to do easy/medium running with strides at the end. When I really focused on getting that front part of my foot down for short periods during my run today, I saw my heart rate drop while my speed stayed the same, so one way or another I was running more efficiently. I also was FAST -- much, much faster than I usually get on those. I was doing those back and forth at Auditorium Shores, and one of my friends running by stopped to say I looked really good and she had never seen me run like that before. Then someone I didn't even know standing over there was like "wow, you're fast" -- hehe, I don't get that very often, so that was a treat.
