COACH BIOS
I started running in 2004 to get into better shape and to get outside while doing it. My first Rogue experience was as a beginning triathlete in the Iron Chicks training program. I was so positively affected by the experience as an athlete, I knew I wanted to be a part of that type of motivation and education on a leadership level. As an athlete, I’ve run it all, from 5Ks to marathon, to triathlon, to ultra trail running, to running through three pregnancies. Over the last decade, I’ve coached countless Rogue runners of all levels. My coaching specialty is motivating and educating athletes new to the sport of running! They give me such a gift when they tell me and I see that their lives are changed for the better because of our Couch program.
COACH PHILOSOPHY
We have one main goal in the Couch program - Improvement! Not a far second behind that is having fun. We provide a supportive, non-intimidating, positive, and fun group dynamic and Rogue provides the training plan perfect for a beginning runner. We want you to enjoy all aspects of your training and help you to incorporate running into your lifestyle. We provide education and support to be sure that you know how to train safely, build slowly, and make a strong foundation as a runner.
GROUP DYNAMIC
No matter your experience level, the Rogue Couch program welcomes you! If you’re a walker, runner, or walk/runner, you have a place in our intimidation-free zone! We make sure all are included, have a tiered program so you can track your success, and cheer each other on at each quality workout. We have fun together, both at practice and spending time together at our social happy hours.
ORIGIN STORY
This group was created for runners that are new to the sport of running, or for those returning to running after a break. With the creation of a five-tiered training program, you are able to begin at the level that’s appropriate for you as well as clearly track success. This program is designed to prepare you for joining one of our year-round training groups after completion of all tiers.
*Monthly recurring payment begins the day of registration. Wait to register until the start date above. Once you register you will be billed immediately. Your on-going billing will occur the same day you registered each month moving forward. You can cancel at any time by logging into your account, click on your account on the bottom right-hand corner. Then, click on “view plan or cancel”. There is not an option to “pause” your membership.
