OVERVIEW
Our Manhattan training classes are year-round groups you can join anytime. The groups meet twice each week for a quality workout on Wednesday with their team/coach, and long run on Saturday morning.
Minimum requirement at beginning of class:
Base Building: staying in shape between races, returning from injury, or prepping for distance class
Half Marathon: you should be able to comfortably run 4 miles (running or a 4:1 run/walk ratio) and averaging around 10 miles per week.
Marathon: you should be able to comfortably run 6 miles (running or a 4:1 run/walk ratio) and averaging around 20 miles per week.

Day-by-day running schedule for goal races, dedicated and experienced coaches that send weekly communication, small-group coached workouts, convenient Saturday long runs (see details belowand 15% discount at the New York Running Company store.
LONG RUN
We support our Saturday long runs with pace based groups, and a coach on the course with the athletes. We have a variety of routes that will be communicated by the coaches ahead of time. The routes will be designed to take advantage of water stops along the way. You will want to bring a hand held water bottle to stay sufficiently hydrated in between stops.
TRAINING CYCLES
There are 4 main training cycles with a prescribed weekly and long run schedule but you can join any time and your coach will help you adjust if you are not aligned with a current goal race/training schedule.
Spring races — post NYC Half Marathon training Starts: TBD for 2022 Goal Races: Brooklyn Half Marathon and other April to mid-May races.
Fall Races - Half & Full Marathon and Base Building
Starts: June 26th, 2021
Goal Races: Any summer/fall half marathons, and the NYC marathon. (11/7)
Maintenance schedule until NYC Half Marathon training begins
Starts: November 13th, 2021 Ends: December 22nd, 2021
NYC Half Marathon training
Starts: December 29th, 2021
Goal Race: New York City Half Marathon (TBD 2022)
PAYMENT
Monthly recurring payment begins after a 5 day trial period. Your on-going billing will occur the same day you registered each month moving forward. You can cancel at any time by logging into your account, click on your account on the bottom right-hand corner. Then, click on “view plan or cancel”. There is not an option to “pause” your membership.
