COACH BIO

I started running in college to help my room mate with her long runs on Sunday, in return for free breakfast? After I moved to Austin I joined the Austin Runners Club and ran the Austin Marathon in 1996 as my first marathon. I was hooked after that. I am one of the founders of Rogue Running based in Austin Texas. I now live the amazing Denver, Colorado with my two labs. I enjoy all the outdoor things Colorado has to offer. I especially enjoy passing long my passion for a healthy lifestyle.

COACH PHILOSOPHY

Run with joy. It is essential that you enjoy the process of training. We spend much more time training than we do racing and it's important for the process to be encapsulated in joy for sustainability. The group training dynamic supports and enhances this idea. As a coach I strive to keep the atmosphere light but also keep my expectations high and hold my runners accountable to their goals.  

GROUP DYNAMIC

Team Rogue Denver are very hard-working, committed and talented athletes, they are a family first. They care about each other as humans and stay connected even when they’re not running together. These teammates inspire each other to reach and exceed limits with their running that they may not have thought possible without each other. But more importantly they inspire each other to become better humans using running as the vehicle.
